The Dark and the Metal chp. 6

"Muzy!? Is that you?" Sonic asked in confusion
"Sonic! Great to see you, mate!" the Koala answered "Marine missed you big time"
"is Marine the one you told us about?" Shadow asked
"seems so" was all Sonic could say "looks like the emeralds brought us to the Sol Dimension"

"and who's you new friend?" Muzy asked
"this is Shadow the hedgehog" Sonic introduced "and the dead weight here is Silver"
"do you need help to take care of him?" the koala asked "I can lead you to Marine's house"
"show the way!" Sonic said

         The koala did as he was told and soon they were in front of the raccoon's house. Sonic was about to walk inside when the door slammed open and a brown raccoon stared, frozen in sheer surprise.

"hey, Marine" Sonic greeted "how's stuff going?"
"Sonic!? Ripper!" the raccoon skipped in the air once in sheer happiness "Great to see you again, mate! And you never told me you had twin brothers"

"he's not my twin, he's a friend" Sonic explained "but I need help with this guy"
"sure thing, mate! Come on in!" Marine invited

        Sonic and Shadow went inside and Marine led them to her room. Sonic put Silver on Marine's bed and put a hand on his forehead, feeling his temperature.
"at least he doesn't have a temperature" Sonic stated
"his anger and crushing both Mephiles and metal sonic must have taken too much out of him" Shadow suggested
"is there any doctor here, Marine?" Sonic asked
"'ere I am!" Marine explained "I'll get my stuff and will be back in no time"

        The female raccoon went out and came back in some seconds holding a bowl with water.

" step 'side, mate!" Marine announced

        With a wave of her hands, the water on the bowl floated with a green glow until Silver's head and chest, what made the hedgehog wake up right after.

"where am I?" Silver asked weakly "this water… feels so good, like it's giving me energy"
"don't move too much, mate" Marine lightly warned "I ain't done yet"

        Silver followed the warning and stood still until Marine waved her hands again and the water returned to the bowl.

"how did you do that?" Silver asked sitting on the bed
"I was born with this 'ere power" Marine explained "I can use water to do lots of stuff! Remember when you and Blaze were fighting those mustached blokes?"
"the doctor, right?" Shadow asked sarcastically
"and nega" Sonic answered

       Before anybody could say anything else, a koala dressed in a cyan garment ran into the room

"Marine! Princess Blaze was captured!" the koala nervously announced
"no way!" Sonic's eyes went wide "how did this happen?"
"some witnesses say that the aggressor looked like…" the koala was interrupted by the sight of Shadow "like him! It looked like this black hedgehog!"
